Brighton & Hove Mayor's Charity Walk
Date: Saturday 28th April 2018
RISE walkers and supporters of the Mayor's other chosen charities are hoping that pioneering the route will help it become an official designated pathway to be enjoyed by generations to come.
The Mayor of Brighton & Hove, Councillor Mo Marsh, invites you to join the second annual walk around the boundary of our city. Discover the biosphere at Castle Hill, take in the beauty of the South Downs, picnic at Stanmer Park and finish with tea in Portslade, hosted by Emmaus.
This event is in support of Mayor Mo's Famous 5 Charities: RISE, Albion in the Community, Martlets, The Clock Tower Sanctuary and Sussex Heart Charity. You will help establish a new designated pathway for the city, while raising money for your chosen Mayor’s charity.
The walk is 18 miles from start to finish, however you can do as much or as little as you like! The walk will be in two stages, with a designated stage for those with mobility issues. This is a community walk for all, with over 200 walkers attending in 2017!
Entry costs £6, click below to register:
Children are free (1 adult for every 2 children).
