Brighton & Hove Mayor's Charity Walk

On Sunday 30th April 2017 257 people joined the Mayor to walk to boundary of Brighton & Hove.

RISE walkers and supporters of the Mayor's other 26 chosen charities are hoping that pioneering the route will help it become an official designated pathway to be enjoyed by generations to come.

Starting in Saltdean and ending in Portslade there were six clear stages, including one with disabled access. Walkers were able to join or leave at different points, and were accompanied by park rangers and route marshals.

There were talks given at two points of interest: by Sussex Wildlife Trust at Castle Hill and at the Chattri Memorial by local historian Davinder Dhillon.
