Albion in the Community’s Game Changers is an exciting project funded by Time To Change, England’s biggest ever programme to end the stigma and discrimination faced by people with mental health problems. The Time To Change programme is run by the charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness and funded by the Department of Health and Comic Relief.

Opening dialogues

Meaningful conversations, where people who don’t have mental health problems can learn from people who do, help reduce stigma and discrimination and help create real change. Our Game Changers team will be trained to talk to members of the public at a variety of events across Brighton and Hove.

One in four people will be affected by mental illness in their lifetime and the RISE Living Library is a unique chance to speak to Game Changers and to hear authentic stories of the challenges they face.
