Brighton & Hove Mayor's Charity Walk

Date: Sunday 30th April 2017
Time: 9am to 6.30pm
Where: Saltdean to Portslade

Join Brighton & Hove Mayor Pete West to raise money for RISE, and walk the boundary of our city to create a new, official, designated pathway.

The Mayor of Brighton & Hove actively supports a number of local charities which operate in Brighton & Hove, serving the local community and greatly improving the lives of residents.  RISE walkers will join the Mayor and supporters of his other 26 local charities to make this an extra special community fundraising event.

By pioneering the Brighton & Hove Way we aim to make this a designated pathway for the enjoyment of Brighton & Hove visitors and residents alike.

Starting in Saltdean there are 6 clear stages, including one with disabled access.    You can join or leave at different points.  The full route is just over 18 miles. Walk a little or the lot – it’s up to you. There is a suitable stage for anyone.  Dogs on leads are welcome.

We will be accompanied Park Rangers/Volunteers and enjoy talks along the way at areas of specific interest.

Further details about the route can be found here.
