Do you have the skills and experience to join RISE at a dynamic time in its development? You will need to demonstrate sound experience in working with survivors of domestic abuse and strong assessment, safety planning and support skills. Strong team working skills, resilience and flexibility, and a positive attitude are essential due to the challenging and changing nature of the working environment, while skills for delivering training. This role will be integral to our Access & Outreach team and take a key role in the running of our integrated services.
The Domestic and Sexual Violence Caseworker -BME Lead will co-ordinate support for BME women and their families, and assist in the development of appropriate service responses. This role is funded for 18.5 hours.
The successful candidate will be a BME identified woman with appropriate knowledge and experience of working with a diverse range of individuals and community groups.
This post is part-time 18.5 hours, however, there are two other part-time posts which applicants can also apply for to make a full-time post of 37 hours per week. These are:
