Corporate partnerships are hugely valuable for charities like us. Not only do they directly help to raise more money, by sponsoring, but they provide support, resources, and prizes, making the event bigger and better. This means more people are likely to join in and donate. Ultimately, this means we can help more people, all thanks to the extra help from businesses.
Importantly, we also know that partnering with RISE means that the staff teams within the sponsor business will hear, loud and clear, that their place of work stands against abuse. This matters to both those experiencing abuse and those perpetrating it. It tells victim-survivors that their place of work will listen and believe them. It tells perpetrators that their behaviour is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
Underground Gym Brighton Manager Lacey Carroll said,
“We at Underground Gym are honoured to support the incredible work RISE does in helping those affected by domestic abuse. Your dedication to providing safety, support, and empowerment to survivors is truly inspiring.
‘As part of our commitment to giving back to the community, we are extremely pleased to partner with RISE. We believe that physical fitness can play a crucial role in healing and rebuilding confidence. Through this partnership, we aim to offer fitness programs, workshops, and resources tailored to the needs of the individuals you support. Our goal is to work together to create a holistic approach to recovery and empowerment, enhancing both physical and mental well-being.
Together, we can help create a healthier, safer, and more supportive community.”
We’re delighted to be working with Underground Gym on our upcoming 8K Run for Women. Their focus on community and friendly fitness classes feel just right for our 8K. We look forward to their community being a big part of the day.
