Abuse, violence and harassment are not inevitable and while technology is giving perpetrators more ways to abuse it is not the fault of the technology.

The choice to abuse is always made by the perpetrator. Through the 16 days, as every day, we stand against violence and abuse and with those who have been subjected to it.

Throughout this 16 Days, we will be sharing experiences and thoughts about abuse and violence from local girls.

We are immensely grateful to these girls for their generosity and bravery in sharing. Abuse thrives in isolation - it is never the fault of the person subjected to it and when we are able to talk about it, we can find that we are not alone.
