Today, we are launching our new #30For30 Campaign to support our vital services in the face of a tough fundraising landscape, and we would love you to be part of it - are you in?
Increasingly, we are being asked to demonstrate to potential funders that we have the support of our community. We want to show the funders we go to that our community - the businesses and people of Brighton and Hove - have our back, and that they, like us, stand against abuse and violence, and for a Brighton and Hove free from abuse, and the fear of abuse.
So we're looking for 30 new corporate partners, and 30 new individual supporters who will commit to being part of raising a total of £30,000 for us before the 30th December this year.
There are so many ways you can get involved - and every single penny adds up, no amount raised is too small. This is your chance to be part of something bigger, and to connect with other people and businesses who support us. Who knows what might come of it?
INDIVIDUALS
One of the easiest ways individuals can support us is by setting up a Birthday Fundraiser on our Facebook page. If you don't need any more stuff, but you know people want to give, this could be a great option for you.
Or do you fancy doing a sponsored silence or swim, a danceathon or emptying out your penny jar? Maybe you'll set up Ripples and donate your spare change on card purchases for a year? Maybe you've had a windfall and can make a one off donation to us - or perhaps you'll set up a monthly donation for the rest of this year? Whatever you can do, we promise, it all adds up to real help for real survivors. You have the power to make a difference.
Each Individual supporter will receive a special something as recognition of your support, and an invitation to our celebration event in January 2026.

BUSINESSES
Single person business? 100 employees? Part of a global chain? YOU ARE ALL WELCOME!
ANY business in Brighton and Hove is welcome to apply to be one of our new corporate partners. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to show your customers - and your staff - that your business is part of a movement for change and will not tolerate abuse. We have training offers available, which we'll talk through with you. And all corporate partners will be profiled on our website, in our social media and newsletter, so thousands of local people will see your support.
We're going to be clear though - for this campaign, we're not looking for help painting walls or with pro bono support. For this campaign, we're looking for businesses to raise cash for us. This could be with a coffee morning, a cake sale, a quiz night or payroll giving, or by adding a donation (a match funded donation? a micro donation?) to us to your ecommerce checkout. Or any other ideas you'd like to suggest!
Then, in January 2026, to bear those winter blues, we'll have a party with our new and existing corporate partners and individual supporters, to celebrate the success we just know you will have! We're hoping that one of our corporate partners will have a swanky space for us to gather in so if that's you, then you will get bonus publicity in the new year!
We know that the Brighton and Hove community is one of love and solidarity. We know that times are hard, but that people still want to make a difference. We want this campaign to be a chance for everyone to contribute to a better, brighter Brighton and Hove, We can't wait to meet you, our new supporters.
