Opportunity for LGBT+ survivors to share your experiences of emergency accommodation

Galop research

Galop is running a 3-year project to find out what emergency and temporary accommodation is like for LGBT+ victims and survivors in England and Wales.

They want to speak with LGBT+ adults (18 or older) who have tried to get emergency or temporary housing in the last 3 years because of violence or abuse. This is a chance to share your experiences and help Galop to advocate for LGBT+ victims and survivors.

Involvement will require a 1-hour interview online via Microsoft Teams, on the phone, or at their offices in central London. This would be with their research team at a date and time convenient to you between 23 February and 23 April 2026.

All participants will be offered a £50 incentive for taking part, as either a bank transfer or a Love2Shop shopping voucher.

To express interest, please fill in this online form by midnight on 18 February 2026. The questions should take around 10 minutes.

Please note, completing the form is only an expression of interest and does not guarantee that Galop will be able to speak with you.

If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch with Alice.
